My Brighton

A celebration of Brighton’s rebellious side

My Brighton is a spirited place that fuses artisan tastes with soul and progressive design. Created in 2008 as a bolthole for business, pleasure and hedonism – its design is a reflection of a collaboration between the city’s own local creatives and New York-based, award winning designer Karim Rashid.

The 79 guestrooms are spread over three floors, each featuring fluid organic curves woven into the architecture of the building, with many rooms offering floor to ceiling windows and an inset double-ended chaise-longue. Bright colours blend boldly with contemporary and futuristic design ideals to create a weekday or weekend affair far from the ordinary.

Book directly through our website for extra benefits:

My Brighton boasts local favourites on the ground floor of the hotel – Meanwhile Cafe for excellent coffee and brunch, and The Chilli Pickle for a taste of India

Perfectly situated within the bohemian cultural quarter of North Laine, My Brighton is close to all the shops, bars and restaurants that Brighton is famous for. And with the beach a short walk away, you’ll be guaranteed that cheeky weekend feeling, no matter what day you visit.

My Brighton is adjacent to Jubilee Square and within walking distance to the Royal Pavillion, Brighton Dome, Brighton’s Royal Theatre and the quirky and eccentric Komedia.

On line photos suggest real quality and luxurious rooms, when you pay very near £100 for one night's stay in what I would classify as a budget room, need better transparency on website as to which room you will be paying for.

Very good location, the experience was most certainly impacted by Covid rules. Had a lovely room with window seat. Think a bit more attention to cleaning needed. Nonetheless, I would book her again.

Room decor was definitely unique. The concept was nice but too small for the price. I paid £275 a night for a superior room. This did not include breakfast (£15 each) or parking (£30 a night). There was no door to the shower or toilet so only good for those comfortable with each other. The sink was dirty and hair in the shower dust on the lights and television and some of the furnishing was a bit grubby looked like it needed a good scrub. Couldn't be bothered to complain it was only 1 night. On the plus Side the staff were professional and friendly.
